I’ve been studying graphic design since I was 15 and I also run my own clothing brand, which you can see featured in my portfolio. A lot of my time and resources go into growing this brand. Knitted sweater
For my clothing brand, I’ve designed the Tree of Life sweater. A beautifully embroidered tree spans the entire back, with its branches and leaves extending gracefully to the front, creating a dynamic and flowing design.
36 days of type
As part of the 36 Days of Type challenge,
I created a series of unique 3D letterforms. These letters are designed to give an optical illusion, creating the impression that they are rotating. This playful yet visually striking approach invites viewers to engage with typography in a dynamic way. The letters were also featured during the open house day at Artevelde Hogeschool.
LP-cover
For this LP cover, I drew inspiration from the hip-hop classic I Got 5 On Me. While in New York, I shot the photo wearing a money-printed shirt, capturing the essence of American hip-hop culture. In Photoshop, I enhanced the image by adding the effect of flying money and adjusting the lighting to create a bold, dynamic visual. This design reflects the energy and attitude of the song perfectly.
Outsider collection
For this collection of my brand, I created the Outsider Collection, focusing on unique items that stand out from the norm. I personally designed all three pieces, carefully selecting a supplier who could bring my vision to life. The photoshoots took place at the beach in Oostduinkerke, where I also developed the creative concept featuring an iron. From designing and editing the photos to handling all aspects of marketing, this collection is a reflection of my hands-on approach and attention to detail.
Magazine
As a school project, I had the opportunity to design a fictional magazine, which I found to be an exciting and creative challenge. I focused on using a consistent color palette and recurring geometric shapes throughout the design, giving the magazine a cohesive and modern look. This approach helped define the unique visual identity of the project.
